The month of Ramadan is special for so many reasons and especially so this year during the pandemic. This is the month in which our holy book, the Quran, was revealed, our sins are forgiven and our good deeds are rewarded. It is a month where Muslims refrain from eating, drinking and indulging in excesses. It is a month of reflection; a time to slow down and contemplate. It is a time for remembering others and engaging in charity.
