2005 and 2006 - Raised funds for the Olive Tree Scholarship program that will aid young Canadian Muslim women to pursue post- secondary education
October 2004 - FMW Donated 125 pounds of non-perishable food items to
foodpath.
December 2001 - FMW's Ramadaan campaign raises $1, 200 for Parkdale
Activity and Recreation Centre in Toronto for distribution
to needy families. This was followed up with a Halal
Lunch after Eid-ul-Adha.
January 2001 - FMW donates 13 tote bags, 16 sets of towels and $60 to
each women in the "Women in Transition" shelter. Board
member Zehra Haffajee attends their annual potluck
June 2000 - FMW and Al-Falah Islamic School raises $500 through a bake
sale and lunch sale for the Canadian Institute for the Blind
(CNIB) during Deaf/Blind Awareness Week
December 1999 - FMW collects money for the purchase of Eid gifts for
women and their children who are in shelters
